Review on MCBAZEL Brook Wingman XE Gaming Converter for Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Elite 1 & 2 Controller - PS4 Console & PC Compatibility with Keychain by Besim Kahsar

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Needs some work, but for quick access with Elite 2, this is the best option.

Pros: -Works great in both wireless and wired modes -Blue LED makes it easy to see it's connected when wireless The color and size of the USB stick stands out clearly from the design of the PS4 off. Does not include PS4. I've been using a Brook Elite 1 controller adapter for a while, but it's not compatible with the Elite 2 because XBox wanted to get their customers to pay an additional $200 after 2 years if the battery died due to their decision to have one not interchangeable to use, battery is empty. Looking at several alternatives and reading reviews, this adapter seems like the best option, and the Brook experience was a huge factor considering how well the Elite 1 version did. Unfortunately, this device needs serious work, so I gave it 3 stars. Do not remove the PS4 controller as you will need it to run the console. PS4 will cut USB power supply when PS4 turns off, and once the device loses power, it will also lose connection. Even the wired PS4 won't turn on. For wireless mode, you need to reconnect the controller each time. This requires you to press the buttons on the USB drive and re-sync the controller, which is annoying. I ended up switching to wired mode, but there are issues here too, especially if you don't have a long enough USB cable. I can't figure out why this device can't use the headset. It doesn't make sense to me, especially since the connector for the Elite 1 is perfect for both PS4 and Switch. At the time of writing this article, there were no software updates. So if you're looking for a voice while gaming, you can't use the Elite 2. That might be a bit picky, but it matters to me because I've blown the thing twice before, flash drives, that's the design and the color. It protrudes about 3 inches from the front of the console and I have to use the front because I don't have room behind the console to use the rear USB. Because of this, sometimes when I pass the console, I stumble upon this thing. I don't like the pink color, but the color of the USB stick really contrasts with the black color of the console. I fixed this by wrapping black tissue paper around it to hide the color (but light enough that I could see the blue LED when it was connected). We're hoping that some issues will be fixed, but that's unlikely as long as it stays plugged in as a USB device. Maybe the company can create a wiring harness around the Elite 2? works great and I have no issues or lag when using Elite 2 on PS4. In the days of playing wirelessly, I never lost the connection until the PS4 turned off. every time I want to play. All I have to do is press the XBox button to register a gamer account on the controller and that's it. I have a DS on the table to turn on the PS4 so I'm playing 30 seconds instead of 2 minutes to try and connect it. Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
