Suitable for oily skin, redness and hyperpigmentation as well as bacterial and fungal acne. Works well with my other skin care products. The price isn't bad either. A dot, less than a dime, lathers well and is the perfect amount so doesn't last long. Has no perceptible odor. Definitely recommend wetting your face and hands before application to help lather. I've tried Vanicream before and after a week I had closed comedones and it has no active ingredients so it doesn't do anything for the skin. CeraVe products are generally not safe for fungal acne and I actually had cystic acne (a common complaint) while using their SA cleanser so I avoid this brand. Stumbled across this simple face gel, have been using it for about 10 days and have had no problems. Really no new blemishes and the blemishes on my chin that were there before the application seem to be healing well. I really like the feel and my face is completely clean after use. I do a dry oil cleanse with MCT oil before I shower and then I wash my face with this oil after I get out of the shower. About a day ago I noticed a few white dots on my chin that I could easily pop out. I skipped my skincare at night and wore sunscreen and masks during the day so I don't know if it has something to do with the product itself, but definitely don't skip the moisturizer or your skin may produce more oil. to compensate for the cleaning. I've been using it morning and night for a while but I've found my skin gets a little oily towards the end of the day so I limit my use at night and only cleanse with a tonic in the morning. I will definitely keep using this.
