What about the belt? I like them because the width is perfect for Dickies work pants, these belt loops do not fit the more standard 1.5" wide men's belts. These Hoanan's I received were 1.22 inches wide, although another reviewer said their strap was narrower. I bought these mainly because of the original high quality 1.25" YKK folding buckle which is almost impossible to find online or in other stores. The buckle has been perfect so far (3 months) with no deformation or slipping despite being worn every day. These buckles are absolutely better than the metal pinch rollers you see at e.g. daiso or flea markets which *always* slip These straps are plastic and nylon, I've successfully passed airport metal detectors with them, one less hassle at the airport The only (small ) Cons of these belts: 1) The webbing is very thin (though stiff), not sure how well it will hold up, especially if you plan to buckle something, even a light one (pocket knife, flashlight), forget anything heavy, 2) the price is a bit high given the few product details, and 3) out of the 6 colors available and 2 types of webbing, you can only buy a few combinations that actually make the YKK buckle work with this sling, I have the buckles on Daiso without any problems - Linen transferred. I cut these straps at the "back end" with scissors and melted the end over a gas stove flame to prevent fraying, which is very easy to do. Follow the belt opening instructions, you need to grab the free end of the belt and pull away from your body, not the buckle itself. Hey Revane, if I'm looking for 1.25 inch belt stop calling me 1.5- Inch straps to show! You were *really* hard to find on your site! The 30mm search was only marginally better. Anyway, in general I buy more. Great straps to match Dickies pants and no airport security issues.
