I'm having a hard time keeping up with Seam Ripper. I can never find it when I need it. When I saw this long seam ripper I knew this was exactly what I needed. Now I keep it in a pen tray on my desk and since it's about the length of a pen it doesn't sink to the floor and get lost. The hook part is very sharp and the tip is pointed, which makes it easy to remove even the thickest thread. I haven't used a needle threader yet, but the next time I need to sew on a button, I know I won't spend half an hour threading a needle. Very good quality, highly recommended.
