So I bought a very similar lobe piercing earring and I liked it. However, I bought them for a top helix piercing and was only able to use about 1/3 of the earring that came with them. The hinges were very tight, making them very difficult to slide in and out (most of them were trying to open). Pulling and tugging on a piece of metal attached to your ear isn't very comfortable. In addition, the seams of the earrings are not very even. I could feel the separation of the two pieces as I ran my fingers across them, and that lip was enough to irritate the piercing as the metal swirled around. I didn't have any of those issues with the other hoop when I inserted it into my coil. I hope the swelling in my ears goes down. not coming back, but they certainly won't be the first ones I address.
