Have 2 cats (and bought 2 beds) and both love this house/bed.
We inherited a cat who only wanted to sleep in her carrier (she had to make a lot of adjustments when she arrived). I wanted something that she would feel safe in but softer/prettier than a small carrier. The only change I made was removing all the padding from the 'pillow' that came with the bed - it filled the house so much. Now she has a nice soft fabric to sleep on and she loves it. We have another cat who loves to 'hide' when she sleeps and she loves this house/bed too.
