Review on 🏀 Franklin Sports Arcade Basketball Game - Indoor Shootout for 2 Players - Electronic Scoreboard and 4 Mini Basketballs Included by Julio Montano

We have this basketball game from Franklin Sports Arcade in our basement since our little kids are starting to play basketball. The box arrived and it was small; So we knew it was going to take some time to build! We were right: the diagrams in the guide, while helpful, weren't to scale, and the guide didn't include *all* the steps, so you had to accept a few things that made building more difficult and time consuming. However, we did the setup in less than an hour. The frame is steel and is surprisingly strong, yet light enough for my 6 year old to drag across the floor. The back is made of nice thick acrylic. The rims have a diameter of 9.5 inches and are made of metal. The set contains four 5 inch mini basketballs from Franklin Sports. You get 2 blue and 2 red balls that are easy to inflate with the included pump. The electronic scoreboard is powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included). It folds up in seconds and takes up little space. It's about 5 feet tall, so we worked on our lower basement ceiling. And it is fun! .Now the biggest crap: The electronic scoreboard stopped working on the first day. THE FIRST DAY! We are very disappointed with the quality of the electronic scoreboard. I think more quality control should have been done to avoid this huge disappointment. (The kids watched curiously as we put it together and waited patiently, and when we finally finished they were SO excited to play, and then completely disappointed when it stopped making a sound!). We tried changing the batteries but that didn't help. Shooting the hoop is still fun, but it's not quite like the advertised game we were hoping for. I don't think that's acceptable for this price range.
