Review on INK IVY Comforter Jacquard Alternative by Heather Warren

I have purchased from this company before and really enjoyed my first purchase as I honestly could go on and on about how much I love the set I previously purchased. I used to have a boho style white and brown set. I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered this new set to redecorate my bedroom. But when I opened the box, it smelled like an animal, to be honest a horse. It was overwhelming and my house started to smell like it too. So I inspected the set and saw huge stains on the bottom so I threw it in the wash because when it comes out I'll just level the score because the problem is gone. But the spots are still there, brown and yellow spots all over this blanket. I'm so disappointed because this set wasn't cheap. Also, I washed it in cold water and tumble dried it so no heat was applied and it shrunk to the size of a full size bed. It doesn't even cover most of my bed. :/ I have never written a bad review it was a minor thing that could be fixed but I am in tears I am so upset with this purchase. I'm a single mom so money is tight but all I wanted was good linens. I saved up to buy this and I was so excited and now I'm stuck with stained, wrinkled, smelly. (No, the animal smell hasn't washed off). I like the color and the design. It's HEAVY and appears to be made of quality material. Honestly, maybe just a weighted blanket. Apart from the obvious issues, this is completely consistent with the picture. I would like someone to come to me with a solution or recommendation….
