I was really impressed with the quality of the product. I particularly like the frame, which makes placing the glass much easier. I must emphasize that the surface of the iPad must be COMPLETELY CLEAN. After installation, I learned the hard way why a clean surface is so important. In particular, I would suggest the following: Wear a hair net or cap to trim/remove flaky scalp particles and hair from surface contaminants. Make sure your clothes are clean and don't spill any materials. Choose a spot with good lighting and maybe one or more overhead lights whose reflections will help you find particles on the surface. Take the time to look for particles on the surface. Make sure there is no air movement where you are installing. If you have a condition that causes hand tremors, find someone to help you install the glass on the screen. I would advise after placing the glass on the surface if you only trapped 1 or 2 particles leave them, especially if they are near the edges of the screen. The reason brings me to the second tip. If you have to lift the glass to correct imperfections, you're likely to create more imperfections. In fact, some of the dust particles stick to the glass and cannot be removed. Third, DO NOT touch the sticky side of the pad with anything. This creates a stain that cannot be removed. If you've never used a tablet, you know it's harder than a phone. Consider purchasing a kit with at least two glass covers. I want to use my iPad for a week or two to see how the many bugs in my setup show up. I am sure that I will remove the first glass and tint a better and more accurate installation of the second. I have no complaints about the product. All my frustration comes from my actions and my inattention. All of my suggestions above are based on my experience. I wish I had all of the above information before attempting to install.
