We have a radio in a larger room at work. When several people are talking and the copier is running, I can't hear the radio. I keep this on my desk and tune it to the same station so I can listen to the radio if the room gets loud. I like that it has buttons that you have to press to tune to the station you want. I don't have to turn the knob to find the right station. It has an antenna when static, but I didn't have to use it. It also has a small LED flashlight!
