This product is easy to assemble, but there are two tricks, I bought three pieces and they took about 15 minutes each, if the second person's installation of the crossbar helps to hold it, until you install the screws, check and measure the screws. I noticed that the two screw packs were wrongly numbered because the screws numbered 2 were 2" long when they were only supposed to be 1/4" long, which is probably why people break desktops. This is a thin metal that can easily bend when tightening the screws. If you tighten them with a twist of the wrist, don't bend the metal. I would buy 10 more, they would make great tables too, I used them to set up my computer.
