Review on Verb Hydrating Mask Manage Restore by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great lightweight mask that really works wonders.

I rarely write reviews but I had to do this one! Hands down, this is an amazing hair mask that really works on my fine, thin, partially wavy, medium to thick straight blonde hair. My hair is also very damaged from a couple of unfortunate accidents which have left me with small clumps of hair ripping and breaking even after a few trims and leaving unintended "layers" down the middle of the shaft. I have very dry ends due to breakage, overuse and chlorine damage from swimming. Virgin hair from roots to ears is relatively healthy but tends to accumulate oil quickly. Needless to say, my hair can get tangled, especially after a shower - until I bought this item. Really moisturizes without being heavy or greasy. My hair feels light (in a good way!), softer, healthier and detangled after using it. I use it according to the instructions as a 7-minute mask on my hair from the crown of my head to my ears. After a few weeks of great results, and finding miraculously that it didn't leave a heavy build-up the next day like most masks for my hair type, I started using a little at the root, above the ears and downwards pull the ends as a normal conditioner, like now i have so much long hair that needs care. Result? Wonderful. Hair instantly became evenly moisturized, shiny and much healthier! Two other big pluses are that they don't contain methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone (MI and MCI), which are found in many popular high-end and budget shampoos, conditioners and shampoos due to their preservative power. However, it is a known powerful irritant and sensitizer that commonly causes allergic dermatitis. It has also been thought to cause hair loss in people who are sensitive to it. It was recently banned for use in most products in the EU, which classify it as a 'biocide'. Anyway, I'm glad it doesn't exist. Last but not least, it really makes my blonde livelier and shinier - without lifting or fading. I will definitely buy again.
