The woman bought a bathrobe. A man's dressing gown fitted her tall frame better than a woman's. For reference, she is 5ft 10" and weighs 150lbs and she ordered size XL but it was too big. She kept it but had to order a larger one. The fabric is comfortable. It's not as warm as a heavy fleece bathrobe, but it's just extra protection from the cold. It washes well and is soft.
