I have two small Chihuahua dogs, a 3 and 4 year old mix. They are well behaved except for the barking range. They know the word "quiet" and tend to lower their barking when all is settled. However, they may not always do this when excited. The collars are wonderful. We only use them when we're excited. They may bark once or twice, but then stop. I like that this collar has no teeth. I think it's convenient for them. I have a small problem with closing. Hopefully it will be easier as we use them. This is my third bark collar and the only one I will be using now.
