I LOVE IT! Make ONE large batch of chili and freeze 8 separate meals in the future! Make ONE large batch of chicken soup and freeze 8 future meals. Take out frozen portions and keep them in plastic bags while preparing more portions / DIFFERENT FOODS OF THE FUTURE. Then thaw individual portions of what you need right now. They have markings so you can "measure" less than one cup size for freezing. This allows me to freeze smaller portions of fruit and/or veggies, gravy, mashed potatoes, etc., allowing me to create my own "frozen dinners" with DIFFERENT choices. Last but not least, they make LARGE ice cubes that melt so quickly in my big warm mugs! Nice gift for a single person! I will buy more of these! I can COOK when it's COLD outside AND HEAT UP when it's hot outside without heating up the kitchen!
