I've been using Zero Water Filter for many years and am a big fan of them. To my knowledge, these are the only jug filters that remove lead. I live alone so I expect the filter to last more than two months before replacing it. Typically, in my experience to date, the filter will still let water through when it needs to be replaced, but cleanliness is starting to drop, as evidenced by both the taste and the gauge that comes with the jug. With this latest filter pack, I was significantly less likely to use every filter before it needed to be replaced. Instead of continuing to let water through toward the end of their lifespan, these filters stop letting water through altogether. I installed a new filter two days ago and noticed that it was already filtering very slowly. Last night before bed I filled the dispenser to the brim and this morning most of the water was still in it. I barely had enough filtered water to brew coffee in my power plant. Considering how much these things cost, this is unacceptable. I love authentic Zero Water products and will continue to use them, but now I will be much more careful about how and where I buy them.
