This cover is not intended as a "replacement" in my opinion. To install this type of cover you will need to detach the center bracket from the cover to insert the crank wheel. The final step should be to reattach the center bracket to the cover. The problem with this cover is that the center bracket is riveted. The replacement cover must have screws. I could flex the tongue and get it to work, but definitely not perfectly. The plastic is also quite brittle, and the center brace is a lot thinner than the original. I would buy elsewhere - make sure you find a center bracket that attaches with screws.
