I ordered this "duvet cover," and also ordered the duvet to go in it, as a "duvet cover" typically zips over the insert piece. The duvet arrived first, then the cover. Imagine my surprise when I realized the "duvet cover" had no zippers and does not actually COVER the duvet. It is a duvet cover insofar as it now lies on top of the duvet. That small things being said, it is incredibly soft and silky, and looks absolutely gorgeous, so there are no complaints in that area. I would have preferred to know that it does not actually have anything to do with a duvet because it was still worth purchasing, but I could have skipped the additional and unnecessary purchase of the duvet. EDITED TO ADD: I just read other reviews that theirs had ties to attach a comforter - I double checked and my item definitely does NOT have these, nor does it open in any way, although it is two layers of fabric, it is sewn completely shut. Just an FYI, as I'm not sure if I was sent the incorrect item or if they have changed the product.
