I was initially very pleased with this item. It seemed to work great on my vehicles and I gave it a 5 star rating. I've used it on factory painted cars. I then used it on a classic car with a custom paint job. See attached photo. I don't know what exactly is in this formula and how it reacted with the paint (I didn't paint the car - I did so I don't know what the composition of the paint is), but I do know after spraying on the car and wiping as directed on the bottle, the paint is scratched. The scratches are very visible. Even after the car has been professionally detailed and waxed, they are still visible. Before using this product on an entire vehicle (particularly if it is not a factory finish), test it on a small, not-so-conspicuous area. First, make sure it's compatible with your paint job.
