Torchstar LED Dawn-to-Dusk 5000K, 800 Lumens, 9W Bulbs

LED Dawn-to-Dusk 5000K, 800 Lumens, 9W bulbs and they always feel cool . I dropped a similar plastic LED lightbulb and it did not splinter, the incandescent and CFL would have been destroyed. I tested each bulb a day before writing the review. - New technology with built-in photo sensor eliminates the need for an additional mounting adapter - great. – Daylight bulb 800 lumens, 5000K very very bright. Can feel awkward to look at for a long time, if you study the light it has a slight blue cast. The amount of light illuminates most of my garden. If your target is a large dark area, this lamp will work well. Luckily, the Touchstar bulbs I received did NOT cause any of the inconveniences I've read about in similar product reviews such as: B. Flickering in the morning before turning off, on/off delay at dusk/dawn; Buzzing sounds for the first three minutes of activation. I'm in Florida and don't see any bugs clustering around the bulb unlike others I've used. Except for one bulb threading issue mentioned in the cons, I'm happy with these bulbs. Remember that it is best to first turn off the power to the lighting equipment, insert the bulb, and then turn on the power to properly activate the sensor. If set during the day, the light should come on for a few seconds when you turn it on, activate the sensor on its own, and then immediately go off again until it gets dark. Cons: - Use on the home porch. The socket thread of one of the four lamps does not initially match, so that when it is inserted for the electricity connection it points towards the house rather than straight ahead for better illumination. Used in a lamp post in an open space situation which is not a problem. Had to spend a few minutes and multiple insertion points to get the light sensor straight straight ahead - very annoying. Use this bulb first so I don't have to worry about it in the future if it burns out. Other thoughts: - Again, these are very bright 5000K white daylight bulbs. I will try another seller's product because they are rated 4000K, soft white, and maybe I like it better, I think 3000K would be too yellow for my personal preference. Unfortunately, TouchStar does not currently sell a product with a rating of 4000,000. Read the product description carefully before adding it to your shopping cart - it's easy to confuse 'dusk 'til dawn' with 'motion sensor' bulbs. Your purchase error does not qualify for a "1" star product rating, as several people have.
