OEM laser toner is ridiculously expensive so I always use aftermarket. This Limeink Black seems to do the trick and costs a little less than OEM. He is black. Whether there is a difference in color depth between this and the OEM I can't tell. Though I wish I'd typed something in bold before swapping them out for direct comparison. However, what I printed in regular 12pt looks the same as what comes out of Limeink. Installation was easy and the cartridge seems to deliver the toner well. I don't see any excess blown off the page or missing blanks. Now my biggest question is how long is this going to last. Limeink claims 2,000 pages per cartridge, which would be great. But honestly, even if I only had 500 pages per cartridge, it would still be cheaper than buying an OEM replacement (which costs about $70 for a single 2,000-page cart). I'm happy when I get 1000 pages and I'm happy when I get 2000.
