Review on Budget-friendly BIC Sensitive Single Blade Shaver, 36 Count for a Smooth Shaving Experience by Haissam Abo Fahd ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

I finally had the courage to attempt shaving with a disposable razor. No matter what anyone says, a manual razor is clearly inferior to a "full-fledged" machine with a current cassette. It's not enough to just walk all over the cheek without a floating head as you would in an ad; many scrapes are required. My previous tool of choice was the Shik Hydro 5, which, with a single stroke, effortlessly eliminates all traces of hair. In summary, I enjoyed myself, but I won't be using disposables again because of the quality loss compared to regular cassettes.

Pros
  • Advantages: + Smaller and lighter than huge multi-blade razors; + Lower cost
Cons
  • The lack of a floating head necessitates repeating the same portion multiple times while shifting the machine's position. Bristles clog it up badly, and unlike cassettes, they can't be rinsed clean with a powerful stream of water from a tap; you'll need to use a brush instead. I used the brush on my hair trimmer, and while that helped, it was still a bit of a bother.
