I read many reviews before buying. I had it for about eleven months. I saw a lot of negative reviews along with a lot of good ones, but I still chose this brand. I'm glad I did. Setup was easier than I expected. I know about computers, but I'm not a magician. I think the average person shouldn't have a problem. I got it up and running on my phone in no time. The same applies to viewing on a computer. Even though I set it to a separate TV, it's always on. You have many options to set motion detection and notifications. You can set it up to send you an email when motion activates. And the reception lasts a few minutes. But the notification only lasts a few seconds. I assume the same as "The Doorbell". But there is no subscription fee. Last month I got up one morning and a camera wasn't working. I've tried a little and still no luck. The other three were fine. So I emailed the support team. They got back to me the same day. We checked for bugs again over the next few days and they fixed the situation to my 100% satisfaction. I am very happy with this system and customer service.
