This is a good light, my OEM taillight went out after 80,000 miles and I got it as a replacement. It is very well made and fits my 2016 Chevy Malibu LT perfectly. It's easy to install, but it's not the same as the original. You need to plug it into an outlet after taking out the old one then you have a flashlight and a resistor with a decent length of wire wrapped in silicone. This one doesn't roll or lock up like the old one because it has soft silicone around it. You can just snap it into place, which is pretty nice, and you can rotate it if needed. My biggest problem with this product is that the resistor gets very hot. I took out my taillight and left my hazards in for about 15 minutes and 5 minutes the drag pack was too hot. The description says it's going to be hot so I was expecting that but it worries me because I'm a Malibu the taillight doesn't have room to tie the box where it doesn't touch anything. I'll update the review, I'll keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't melt anything. UPDATE: 3/5/21 I've recently started driving a Revain Flex and have driven my car for 4.5 hours with lights/hazards on for an extended period of time. When I got home I removed the rear light and everything was fine. So the resistor obviously gets very hot, but not hot enough to melt anything. If I run into any problems with this I will update again.
