The first one I ordered started flickering about two weeks after installing it. I asked for a replacement and when I started taking the old one off I noticed that it was very hot. It appears that even though it is a flush mount fixture, once installed it does not dissipate heat. It is mounted on the ceiling of the bathroom, approximately 2.40 m above the floor. So when I installed the new one, I screwed the screw in far enough to leave about 1/8 inch of space between the ceiling and the light for heat dissipation. The space between the lamp and the ceiling is barely visible from the ground and so far everything is working properly. I give it three stars because it's bright, energy efficient, and easy to install. But the first one failed, and without the setup change outlined above, I think the new one also failed.
