These aren't your typical rain showerheads - they don't produce enough water pressure. I tried it first with the water restrictor installed and the water pressure was pretty good, then I removed the restrictor and WOW! NO MATTER! The pressure isn't as strong as the Speakman head, a bit too much in my opinion, but definitely stronger than a regular shower head - on a scale of 1 to 6, with 1 being a regular shower head and 6 being Speakman. I rate the water pressure a 4 which is perfect for me and my wife. And because the head is 6 inches wide, it covers a larger area, so you don't have to move your head or body too much, or use your hands to rinse the shampoo out of your hair - just move your head up and down. down and the water pressure does the rest. If you want to remove the restrictor I recommend putting a screw in and then pulling on the screw with pliers is the easiest way.
