I was hesitant before buying. The cost was too high if it didn't work. Well, let me tell you that this was game changing for me. I no longer kneel with my face in the trash can and shovel and shovel and shovel. When cleaning, pieces and flakes of dirty garbage are left behind, which makes the smell in the box worse and worse. I wasn't expecting this, but it makes for much cleaner screening. Virtually no lumps break up and therefore less odor from the packaging. With fewer clumps breaking up and cleaner litter being returned to the stall, the amount of litter used has been greatly reduced as I don't have to completely empty the stall every few weeks. I now drive two more months without completely changing the bedding. In fact, it only paid for itself in the first month by saving on linens. It doesn't really increase the load on the box and it's faster, but it's easier for me. Less flex but you have to lift a full box so it's a little heavier. We have large triangular bowls from the world's best manufacturers so the strainer fills the entire strainer basket and if you throw it all away at once it will spill onto the strainer. I sift by placing the back corner on the sieve and shaking the tray slowly to get the litter into the sieve, this allows the litter to be sifted as it runs out. Then I strain what's left over into the trash can and tilt the strainer to collect any clumps at one end, then empty them into a plastic bag. Then I dump the trash back into the tray and flatten it out. This screen makes it easier to store deeper junk in the drawers, allowing our drawers to have about 5 inches of junk. I've been using it for a while now and the quality seems really good. With 3 large bins that together hold about 60 pounds of rubbish, it takes me less than 10 minutes to get through the bins. I highly recommend this product.
