Review on High-Performance 1 Pack 40/30 AMP 12 V DC Waterproof Relay and Harness - Heavy Duty 12 AWG Tinned Copper Wires, 5-PIN SPDT Bosch Style Automotive Relay by Dwayne Shavers

I got confused looking at the top of the relay (see attached photo) and thought that pin 30 was connected to pin 87a when power was applied to the coil. Not correct. The actual behavior is reversed, documented as follows: coil switch position ------------- energized 30 connected to 87 de-energized 30 connected to 87a I would draw the circuit slightly differently than it is drawn on the relay, but technically correct considering the circuit breaker is drawn in the de-energized position. If I had followed the pictures the seller posted I would have had no problems.
