Review on πŸ”‘ NHVWB1U711 Keyless Entry Remote Control Car Key Fob Replacement by KeylessOption by Sean Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Correct part the first try and installed in less than 60 seconds.

overall very happy with this product, would order this product again with the keyless option before trying others. I wish I had ordered this first and installed it myself before waiting at the Subaru dealership to order and install new trailers. The Good: - Searching for the part turned up the correct part number for my 2006 Subaru Forester (Two- button remote control). - Installation took less than 60 seconds. , shape and appearance like the original key fob that came with the car (albeit a little less "shiny" (if that matters). Not that impressive; _ The instructions provided are not a paper copy, but a card with a web address .Your link works and is easy to use, but it adds an extra step that requires an internet connection if you don't remember the process.- The range may be slightly smaller than the original keychains, I haven't specifically tested this , but it seems to take more than one try to use, if I'm already some distance from my car (no problem, just difference, maybe because I have more moisture sealing rubber for me to be okay with that) it's worth it I usually stick with original parts and pay a professional to fit them so I can focus on the things I'm good at am and can have someone else do it as I am not trained in auto repair at all. was working less and less for me, and changing key fobs was a perfect example. The local dealer ordered a new remote using my VIN, the parts arrived and I left the car. They called and said they had a problem. programmed the car with new genuine Subaru key fobs and asked for more time, a few calls and 19 days later they told me I needed a new remote entry module because mine was bad they would call it $300 (plus overpriced OEM key fobs and work). . After becoming very skeptical over the past two weeks, I decided to return everything, grab my car and leave. I saw the keychains they ordered when I first sent the parts back. They were the wrong part number, clearly different and not compatible with my car (based on the Subaru parts website). Mistakes happen and I'm sorry it must have been frustrating for the technicians trying to figure out the problem, but 19 days in the hands of certified technicians no one has confirmed that the part number was chosen correctly during the troubleshooting process and offered to order the part at a cost of over $300 even though it has been tested for full functionality were just too many red flags for me. When I ordered this item options and compatibility were clear, the right parts came right the first time at a fraction of the cost and I was able to program the car to a new key fob in under 60 seconds, all three in under 2 minutes. I should have started by ordering this item.
