These are good 50 pin IDC connectors. I used them to make my own internal SCSI cable. I used a hand press on the IDC connectors and it was relatively easy to compress them. You really need to start in the middle to get it working and to keep the ribbon cable from moving. side to side center to side. That way I was able to make a good connection.
