This dress is so very comfortable, which made me really sad that it just was not flattering at all. The waistline is in the most awkward place - right above the bellybutton, making it accentuate the widest part of you. The pleats also add a bit of a bump at the waistline, making it even worse. I am 5’8”, 140lbs and bought a small and a medium, and it was the same case for both. I have a somewhat hourglass shape, and this dress just made me look like a tube. My husband was gracious enough to be honest and tell me "yeah, that dress makes you look fat.” 🤣🤣 Which is such a bummer because the material is so soft and the dress itself is very pretty.
