Review on 🎵 HIFI NEWS - Producers Cut Test LP by Abhinav Drury

I've always been interested in test recording as I've only set up my players with basic tools/methods (alignment pointer, VTF scale, bracket alignment) and everything sounded fine, but I've often wondered if everything is fine? This recording includes many useful test tracks suitable for testing tuning accuracy from beginner to advanced level. I found the anti-skating and tracking tests particularly helpful as they helped me ensure my pickup and anti-skating settings were correct (anti-skating dials are not always accurate, especially on vintage tables) . FWIW, my copy arrived intact. Shape - and very flat / centered hole - so no quality control issues / I can trust its accuracy. Yes, you may not need this to set up your player properly, but it's nice to be able to test how well (or not so well) the setup is working and to check the ability to track specific cartridges. And those looking for a more technical test LP (for things like Wow & Flutter) will want to look elsewhere, but this is a great basic test LP for general use, so I'm happy to recommend it to others.
