The size is fine and the rigidity is good too. The lid stays on fairly well. My main issue is with the smell. It's awful.like melted plastic. We put water in it and used it later for brushing our teeth. It tasted so gross and the taste wouldn't go away. everyone hated the taste. If you want to use it to hold water, for various reasons, like camp showers or dishes, it's perfectly fine, but just don't use it for drinking or drinks because the smell/ taste is really bad. I will continue using it for watering plants, with the hope that the smell will eventually diminish.
