I have three cats so they make a big mess with the pen. One of them really likes to dig just for fun. I liked the idea of this tray but the reviews made me skeptical. The most common complaint I saw was the filler getting stuck in the crevices inside. I used a hot glue gun to fill them in right away. After setting it up I waited a few days before posting to really get a feel for this box. It's easy to clean - the tray slides out for scooping. Not as messy as some reviews have suggested. And I love that the crampons are forced to exit fully through the top to avoid trailing debris. With this box, the amount of bedding has been reduced by 80%! I used to have a fully enclosed one with a valve, but they still clog EVERYWHERE. The top does a great job of keeping dirt in the box. It costs me money. An added bonus is that it's cute and easy to scoop. My only complaint so far is that the junk collects around the rim inside the box. I also wish the litter box was a little deeper so I could add more litter. The debris around the edges comes off with a simple shake and since I filled the main cracks with hot glue I don't think this will be a problem in the future. I will update in a few weeks.
