The strips are solid and everything works

I bought these because I needed sliding contacts for the LED strip and a pigtail for the permanent connection to the power supply. So to be honest I just used the white ends of these strips and cut off the black pin headers. But the pad under the contacts worked fine. For waterproof LED strips, remove the silicone cover and be sure to remove the adhesive backing. Do this and your strips will slide right under the contacts and snap into place. Great brackets!
