Less is more! The result is a simple, efficient and great sounding device that will cover all my needs. They work quite well, but they left out a few things that aren't important, in fact they're better for a smaller feature set. They're so light that I never notice they're there except for the noise, never get uncomfortable, never afraid they'll pop out and fall into a bucket or sink full of water. Holds up great. Okay, the second time I used them, there was some discomfort. itching like crazy! What about these things, and why didn't they automatically turn ON AGAIN?! I had to stop what I was doing and find out. It turns out that the manufacturer placed a clear insulating tab at the earpiece's contact points. I suspect this is to prevent them from repeatedly charging in transit, or perhaps to ensure they can be shipped - lots of lithium battery shipping rules! - ok my fault i have never seen this on them or others i have used but now that they are gone the itch is gone and they turn on and off, they charge, they do everything what can be expected of them. But less is more: it's not listed as IP67. I haven't found any information on waterproofing of any kind, but I don't shower with headphones on, swim or do anything else in the water that I'm worried about getting wet, so I don't mind. Perhaps the lack of impregnation helps them stay light and sound good. Maybe they're inherently waterproof and it's just not on the list. In any case, there are still no problems with sweat or wet hands. You don't have many controls for many functions. But the fewer functions, the less you have to remember about administration. Play/pause forward/backward (track only, not rw/ff to repeat a small part of a track) Answer/end call. The volume is also controlled by the phone. It works well for me since the phone is right in my pocket and I rarely need to adjust the volume, the simplicity is still refreshing. Do you only want to use one? Nice. Go straight ahead and do it, but be aware that depending on what you leave in the suitcase, you lose half of the forward and reverse control. However, they work just as well for one ear as they do for stereo music. Answer/End works the same as when using two. less in the field. I can't wait to lose. Hooray! I have multiple USB ports throughout the house and one more would just be bigger. Nothing extra but nothing missing for a wonderful experience. Sound: They sound very good. If at first you realize you're missing something and think you've received a lackluster product, think again! The trick is to rotate them a bit. 10-15 degrees is a lot! I did find myself inserting them straighter, but found that the sound improved significantly when they were better aligned with my ear canal. Now the bass can be felt, Now the tones of the acoustic guitar ring through the inside of my skull. Nice, just a few degrees of adjustment. Very clean, crisp sound that is stable and doesn't pulsate with connection issues. The whole album keeps coming back. Bluetooth connection: easy to pair. If the cellular phone is turned off, it will announce the shutdown after a few minutes. They are self-controlled to turn on and off with their body. You have a very stable connection to my cell phone. Never stutter, never skip, never interrupt a song. They just work great. They also report battery level, which is the only way to tell how much battery power is left. No flashing lights to let the world know they're active, instead energy is stored to send sounds to your ears. How refreshing to have a simple design. Size: I might as well be the standard output. The headphones came with a specific size of "ear tips" and a few more in a pouch inside the box. I haven't changed them. They seal well and have a strong hold because they never come loose, but they also come loose without discomfort. The selected material gets my vote for human convenience. The size of the suitcase they fit in is about a quarter of the size my wife owns. I don't need a big case or long battery life, so this little box that fits easily in my pocket gives me multiple headphone charges. The perfect companion for my part-time jobs with short shifts. Battery Life: The small body gives me multiple charges, and the lack of a screen showing battery level makes sense. Why waste so much energy telling me how much energy I have? It uses a set of four blue LEDs to indicate charge level and battery life, and it's bright enough for direct sunlight and maybe a small lamp for finding things in the car at night. They're pretty bright when they're on. When they're low, the USB-C port and my home outlet with a USB charging port fill them up quickly. The earbuds themselves have a white light that flashes slowly to indicate they're charging when in the case. Once charged, all lights will turn off until next use. I play them less than 4 hours straight and the battery never dies. Battery level is shown on my Android phone on connected devices, when selected they show battery level which is nice to have feedback. The first few times I used them they showed the battery level to drop over time but now that the insulating strip has been removed so they charge every time they are taken away I have never seen them under 90% fell. In general, I sincerely recommend to everyone.
