This book is incredible!

I own dozens of beadwork books and this one is truly exceptional - even the design of the book deserves an award! I am new to 8 strand bead kumihimo and this book has clear and well illustrated answers to all my questions from choosing the right cord and fiber combination to weaving large or multiple bead sizes and including charms. and a few focus beads on the braid. The Essential Kumihimo Beginner's Book

Beautifully written, designed and illustrated, this book gave me exactly the introduction to Kumihimo I was looking for. To me it is comparable in quality and usefulness to Carol Wilcox Wells' 1998 book Creative Beading as a guide to starting a new crafting discipline. Another advanced weaver/reviewer noted that this may primarily appeal to bead artists looking to incorporate kumihimo into their bead work; I'm one of those and it definitely works for me. Nice book but

First of all I love this book. It's well designed. The instructions are clear. Each part is something I will try. Kudos to the author for his excellent work. Okay, the only problem I have is the following statement.
