I LOVE these shoes! I think they are quite well made and would make a good beach shoe. Convenient to carry around the house. I won't be able to try them on the beach until January. I also bought the Freely brand and I like them a bit more because the stitching around the top has a more finished look with matching thread (the thread is black on it). I will keep both brands. Update: I bought a pair for a week in Hawaii. They are very comfortable and hold up well. No holes and only slight signs of wear. Both brands were very comfortable and hugged my feet well without being too tight, protecting my delicate feet on rocks and paths with small pine cones. I would definitely buy them again in a different color in the future as I expect the blue ones I bought will last a while. You are wonderful! They are easy to put on and take off when you want to. They don't slip off my feet if I don't want them to.
