Good price compared to OEM

My Electrolux microwave stopped working and everything pointed to a bad micro switch. The machine started the countdown but the player had no power when the power level was selected. This suggests that the bottom microswitches were defective as they control the microwave power lamp. When I checked the continuity of the switches (my model had two), they passed the test well, but one of them sounded completely different than the other (much louder). I took a chance and assumed that one of the switches was defective. I ordered from this supplier as the price for two switches was just over $10. I checked the prices at RepairClinic and a few others and they wanted $35 for a switch. The physical dimensions of these switches were identical to those originally installed. I had some concerns as the Revain product description didn't say it would fit in my microwave. Installation was a little tricky, not because of the switch itself, but because of accessing the control panel and manipulating some fairly hard plastic parts holding the switch. I can't say how they will hold up, but the specs on them were identical to the OEM and I feel good that I saved $65 compared to other parts suppliers. Caution: When servicing a microwave oven, make sure the power is off and the main capacitor is properly discharged. If you accidentally touch a capacitor, you can get an electric shock as you discharge it.
