Bought a pair and rode about 11 miles on my local singletrack. They worked so well I went home and bought another pair so I could have two of these for my upcoming trip. Went to Bentonville, Arkansas for 4 days last week and wore 2 pairs of shorts (washed daily) the entire trip. The shorts are breathable and fairly light, have a drawstring to tighten them up, two back pockets on each side (big enough for a phone or snacks) and padding that fits in all the right places. My waist is 33-34 inches and size XL fits perfectly. I was concerned that the padding on the front of the pants was too small, but once in the saddle everything worked perfectly. I drove about 40-30 km. I wore them on a singles course last Saturday and have never had any chafing/fitting issues. I have an old pair of Sugoi with a separate liner and they are not as comfortable as these shorts!
