I have a pair of original makeup erasers and they work well. This one is just as soft and almost as good as the original brand. The idea behind these wipes is that you don't need cleanser to remove makeup and cleanse your face, but I only use them without cleanser in the mornings when I'm not wearing makeup and only moisturizer is left. Effortlessly and gently removes residues and dirt. It's not that effective when I have a face full of makeup. Then I wash the fabric with some soap, rinse it and hang it up. Dries pretty quickly. I also use a facial cleansing wipe. That works fine. The fabric is very soft for my skin. I love this fabric, but the original makeup eraser is a little better at removing things like mascara and matte lipstick. However, this is a very good makeup remover and I'm glad I have it.
