So soft even after washing. I do not recommend tumble drying them like most fleeces. My daughter has sensory issues and this is perfect for her. She will definitely be warm and comfortable in this shirt. She wears size 4 to 5T and fits perfectly with plenty of room to manoeuvre. It was a little tight, but no tighter than any other sweater or hoodie.
