This pudding is more like a light hold gel for washing and conditioning. I have wavy curly hair and afterwards my hair was almost completely free, soft, bouncy curls. It definitely has an odd slimy texture with a strong fruity citrus scent, but the smell dissipates as it dries. This is a much better alternative to the unhealthy ingredients I got from my previous gel. I'm still looking for something natural to tame my frizz completely without looking like a greasy blob. Casting I can break after it dries and then I won't curl! I just run my fingers through the strands to smooth them out until they look natural. I'm also impressed with how much volume I get with this hairstyle. The hair does not weigh down, although I add it above. Updating my rating to 5 stars. I use it daily after showering or to freshen up curls. I have a lot left. With my medium length hair I think it lasts at least 6 months. Great natural product and price!
