HORRIBLE!: NOT AS GOOD AS MOBILE VIDEO!

HOPE THIS HELP YOU. One sentence summary: This camera has only one feature that my phone lacks: an element of infrared night vision, which my iPhone X otherwise doesn't suit me. Background: I am an award-winning filmmaker with years of experience working with a variety of cameras. Received this to complement my two Panasonic professional cameras and a couple of small underwater cameras etc and still cameras. 1) I'm using the second version of this frustrating camcorder after sending the first one back due to the lack of slow motion (my fault - but two different versions of this camera that look the same in the advert. ) The SECOND camera comes with slow motion which is quite normal. 2) LED: BOTH cameras have numerous issues, starting with the LED screen showing horribly posterized images with the second camera. While they play better on my computer, an unreliable LED is unacceptable. The first camera's LED was better, but still not great. 3) ZOOM: 18x as advertised but VERY jerky when zooming out during recording making that aspect unusable. 4) BATTERY: The secondary camera's battery life is lousy after fully charging. Only about an hour. Also, it would be nice if they reported that the battery was already in the first chamber, but turned around. Not being familiar with this device (I'm an expert now) I wasted my time trying to charge an incorrectly installed battery. Apparently I received a camera that was repackaged after being returned by another angry customer. 5) CONTROLS: The manufacturer has packed so many functions into this camera that some buttons can be used MULTIPLE. This is a pain as you have to remember which key does what and press it correctly each time a choice is presented. A classic design flaw. More specific usage buttons would make this much easier. 6) REPRODUCTION: Incredibly awkward to find and use - the WORST I've seen out of the 10 or so other cameras I've used over the past 10 years. The play arrow on the screen does not work. Unforgivable. 7) SCREEN SAVER: When the splash screen turns off the camera, it will LOCK the camera with a weird arrow signal that doesn't work. I can't figure out how to restart the camera other than turning it off and starting over. 8) SIZE: Obviously this is very compact. I have medium-sized hands and good dexterity, and I still love the responsiveness and ease of use of this device. It's very easy to touch the wrong spot on the tiny LED screen and trigger the wrong function. 9) OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: Completely inadequate. So oversimplified that they missed tons of information that people like me need. I know this isn't a professional camera, but I wonder how amateurs handle it. 10) STABILITY: With or without the stabilizer, this camera is NOT as stable as my Apple iPhone X. 11) PRICE: Seems cheap, around $140 BUT I've spent a lot of time making what it is NOT : a good camera at a good price. 12) Limited audio and mic experience as I've spent so much time getting the graphics to work successfully. WHAT REMAINS: If you're a ranked amateur who just wants to charge the battery, open the screen and shoot, well, SORRY - you can't even just do it like that! There's a staggering array of customization needs that will quickly get in your way. That's all said (and I hope it's helpful). I'll wait a little longer with the second camera to make sure I've given it a more than fair chance. So far the three days have been full of disappointments. If anything changes I will update this review. Three days were full of disappointments. If anything changes I will update this review. Three days were full of disappointments.
