Great piece to keep your child warm. However, I ordered a 3-6 month size and it is more suitable for 6 months than 3 months. My 3 month old swims in it as he is 12 pounds and 22.5 inches long. His feet and hands don't reach the ends at all. I think I would order 0-3 months if you want it for your 3-4 months. old. But if you have a baby older than 6 months, it should fit just fine. We took my son Christmas tree shopping and he was very, very warm as we walked through the fields. I just love this pattern. This is a great purchase. .
