They are very warm and helped us get through the winter. The zipper's plastic teeth broke on our first model, but luckily kids grow up so fast we were willing to upgrade to a larger size. 12-18 months is a big jump and size, while the 6-12 range was more conservative. The hood is also ridiculously large, so expect to need a beanie in addition to properly warm clothing.

Great piece to keep your child warm. However, I ordered a 3-6 month size and it is more suitable for 6 months than 3 months. My 3 month old swims in it as he is 12 pounds and 22.5 inches long. His feet and hands don't reach the ends at all. I think I would order 0-3 months if you want it for your 3-4 months. old. But if you have a baby older than 6 months, it should fit just fine. We love this little fleece winter overall! It's ideal for wearing under a heavier snowsuit on a cold day, or alone on a spring day. The paw pads are super cute and we love that you can fold the arms and legs over to close them when you want or open them up when it's warmer outside.
