I bought 4 pairs of these shorts for my son - they fit perfectly and the quality is excellent. My son is 11 years old, he is in the 6th grade; He's 4ft 8" and weighs 100lbs: the 'large' size of these Puma shorts fits him perfectly. He wore these shorts to baseball camp all summer and they worked well for football too. I think all parents will like this: the shorts are neither too long nor too wide; on my boy they fit to the knee. maybe a little lower. My son has what is called an "athletic build" - not necessarily overweight, but he wears husky sizes on some brands, so that the shorts/trousers fit snugly around the hips and buttocks. These Puma shorts fit him perfectly in the LARGE size: roomy but not falling from the waist and not too long. And he loves bags!
