Great concept; I bought it to attach to a walking stick. Unfortunately, while the device is securely attached to the stick, the gimbal head holding the phone/action cam to the stick does not have the required proportion to hold/maintain the angle of the head to the stick. rod attachment. This will cause the phone/action cam to wobble out of position during use. The surfaces of the friction mechanism are smooth and will likely need ripping to keep the head securely in place.
