Review on MSI Optix G27CQ4 Non-Glare 2560X1440P Resolution, 165Hz Curved Monitor with Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free & Adaptive Sync by Brandon Kelley

Washed out picture quality

I am currently using BenQ Zowie XL27s. They are 6 years old, 1080p, 120Hz and look great. I bought this monitor because I finally got my hands on the 3080 and needed to upgrade my monitor to 2k. For the price, the specs you get on paper are amazing. The first thing I didn't like was the stand. It sits very low, there is no height adjustment at all. It's not bad, but uncomfortable. I downloaded it and immediately noticed that the image quality had deteriorated. I tried calibrating the settings (this all has to be done manually as this model doesn't have presets, which is also inconvenient) and after about an hour of trying I concluded that the pixels were shifted. I believe this is most likely a manufacturing defect in my device. However, given the above inconveniences, I will choose another monitor.
