Strobe won't work without it

I have a version of this Zumbrella sold by David Seiser (only it's twice the price and doesn't include a cap) and it has served me well for 2 years I carried it around the world with a couple of flashes and Justin's clip in my backpack. The compact folding size makes it ideal for those short on space, but it also means it extends more than other umbrellas available, creating a larger light source and therefore a softer light source. This tool also sets very attractive accents in the eyes. objects and can be used not only as a shade but also as a diffuser, creating convex light that is more sculptural than a flat diffuser. By the way, shooting light through this shade is the only way out: it doubles the power of your light and offers a softer quality of light without the specular reflections caused by the silvery reflective coating. Place the flash at the end of the pole (as far away from the fabric as possible) to fill the screen with light instead of just shining through a small hotspot, and move the fabric as close to the subject as possible, and Bob it's your uncle. , you have a great portrait light. Or still life light. Just try opening an umbrella over wildflowers in a sunny field and amaze your friends with the pictures created by your ultra-portable, lightweight tent. Spray it with water-repellent silicone and ramp up the shooting conditions to include springtime in the Northwest. This umbrella is really great. I just bought two more because two years later one of the spokes was stepped on and *almost* broke.
